Another place that you will find catkins at ICNA right now is along the path from the kiosk to the Education Building where there is a small group of American Hazelnut shrubs.  The catkins are easy to spot and if you look very closely you may find some of the female flowers as well.   Look closely as they are very small.  These photographs are courtesy of Bob Gore and are from a few years ago but I saw some of these blooms just a few days ago.
