March Native Plant Walk

Mary Lee Epps will lead the first Jefferson Chapter plant walk of the 2024 season at Ivy Creek from 9:00-11:30 on March 23rd. Depending on how advanced the season is, we may see hepatica, pennywort, and trailing arbutus in bloom as well as early bloodroot and spicebush blossoms. If March is mild, we may even find rue anemones flowering. Join us in seeking out the early signs of spring. Meet at the kiosk at 9:00 a.m. Free and open to the public.
