Habitat Corridors: Creating a Space to Support Local Native Plants and Wildlife

Brigitte McCauley is the owner of Hummingbird Hill Native Plant Nursery, an organization dedicated to recovering local ecosystems by strengthening native plant populations. Her nursery specializes in growing local genotype native plants for habitat corridors. When she isn't working with plants at the nursery, Brigitte enjoys hiking, vegetable gardening, and drawing.

Jefferson Chapter Virginia Native Plant Society meetings are held on the second Wednesday (except during the summer) starting at 7:00 PM in the Education Building at Ivy Creek Natural Area and Historic River View Farm. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
