Join us to learn all about native snakes of Virginia’s Central Region! This program will explain what to do if you see a snake, how you can help snakes, snake natural history, and basic identification.  Caroline Seitz is the Virginia Herpetological Society (VHS) Education Committee Chair and has more than 30 years of experience as the founder and director of two wildlife education organizations along with a lifelong passion for reptiles and amphibians.  She graduated from George Mason University with a B.A. in Speech Communication and completed graduate level classes in herpetology and vertebrate zoology.  Caroline is using her experience as a leader and professional wildlife educator to help the VHS achieve its goal of educating people of all ages about the importance of conserving Virginia’s reptiles and amphibians.
