Master Naturalists Training Class Info Session

The Rivanna Chapter of the Virginia Master Naturalists is a valued partner of Ivy Creek Foundation that provides many hours of service to ICF. You don't need to be a scientist! All Master Naturalists receive training so that they can test water, survey animals and bugs, pull invasives, improve natural areas, steward trees, record data, plant buffers, collect field data, maintain trails, and educate everyone, of all ages, about the natural world. Each year Master Naturalists donate around $250,000 in time to help out in our area. If joining a volunteer corps dedicated to preserving our natural heritage appeals to you, the 2023 class will meet Tuesday evenings from 6 to 9 PM from February 7 to May 23, plus field trips.
