Take an early fall walk with us during this beautiful time of year at Ivy Creek.

As we explore a meadow and a forest habitat, we invite you to be curious about the natural world around us. How are plants and animals adapted to life in these differing habitats? How do insects, birds, and other wildlife change their behavior to meet the fall season? What can we observe about the amazing interconnections between plants and animals? We’ll ponder these questions and more as we enjoy looking at the seasonal changes happening as autumn begins. This will be a leisurely walk, however sturdy shoes are recommended. Wooded trails tend to have tree roots and uneven terrain. There will be a few gentle inclines and declines.
