Introductory Meeting for Native Plant Garden Volunteers

Pollinator garden bench

Are you interested in learning about climate-friendly native plant gardens that support birds and pollinators? Do you enjoy getting your hands dirty in the garden and talking about native plants?  Would you like to be a garden docent and promote the benefits of growing native plants with visitors? Come join the Native Plant Garden Volunteers at Ivy Creek.  Volunteer opportunities include: weeders, monitors, docents and photographers. We welcome both experienced and novice gardeners.

For more information, attend an Introductory Volunteer Meeting at the Ivy Creek Education Building on Saturday, April 12, from 1:30-3:00.  After an information session we will take a brief tour of the four native plant gardens looking for spring ephemerals. If you cannot attend the meeting, but are interested in volunteering, contact Leigh Surdukowski at lsurdukowski@gmail.com.
