Piedmont Virginia Bird Club: The Behavior and Ecology of Northern Cardinals
Joanna Vondrasek, Professor of Biology at Piedmont Virginia Community College and PVBC Programs Coordinator, will give a presentation about the behavior and ecology of cardinals – a common bird with some less common behaviors. She will highlight some of her work on the ecology and singing behavior of cardinals and discuss birdsong, particularly by female passerines, more broadly.
This meeting will be held at the Ivy Creek Education Building at 7 PM on Wednesday, March 6. The public is welcome.
