Bird Feeder Quiet Area Open House

Come learn about the birds at the feeders in the Ivy Creek Quiet Area on September 9 from 9:00-11:00 AM. Binoculars will be available so that you can get an up-close view of the feeder birds.  Piedmont Virginia Bird Club members will identify birds and give tips on attracting birds with feeders and native plants. At 10:30 AM, there will be a tour of the native shrubs and trees planted in the Quiet Area to attract birds. Woody plants provide birds with year-round shelter and food from nuts and berries to caterpillars.
