Join us on September 5 at 6:00 PM in the Education Building as Dr. Roulston shares knowledge about our native bees. There are approximately 1000 bee species in the eastern United States, all relying on flowers for their survival and reproduction. They live among us in the city, town, and countryside, pollinating our garden plants and keeping the wild plants going through the pollination services they provide. We’ll explore the diversity of the bee species around us and their life histories, discuss their conservation status, and ways we can encourage them to stick around.
