Chestnut Documentary “Clear Day Thunder”

You're invited to a free screening of "Clear Day Thunder," a new documentary film celebrating the history, hope, and heritage of the American chestnut and the generations of citizen-scientists banding together to restore this iconic species to Eastern forests. It will be shown Thursday, July 27, at 7 PM at Piedmont Virginia Community College in Auditorium Room 229 in the Main Building, 501 College Drive, Charlottesville. After the screening, participate in a Q&A session and reception with citizen scientists. We are proud to cosponsor this screening with the Virginia Chapter of The American Chestnut Foundation.
