River View Farm Tour

Join us for a tour of historic River View Farm.  Founded by Hugh Carr, a formerly enslaved man, in 1870, the farm was later owned by his daughter, Mary Carr Greer, and her husband, Conly Greer, both leaders in the African American community in Albemarle County.  Meet at 11 am on July 9 to learn about their struggles and successes.  This event is free and open to the public but space is limited, so please preregister here.
