October Native Plant Walk

On October 12 (note change from third Saturday) from 9:00 - 11:30 AM, join Phil Stokes, Jefferson Chapter Virginia Native Plant Society member, to learn more about identifying Ivy Creek’s trees in early autumn.  As well as bark and leaf shape, fall color, fruits, and nuts can all be useful clues at this time of year.  Co-sponsors: Jefferson Chapter, VNPS, and Ivy Creek Natural Area.  Meet by the kiosk near the parking lot. Free and open to the public.
