September Native Plant Walk

Ivy Creek Plant Walk, Sat. Sept. 26 2026, 9:00-11:00. Note that this is a week later than usual. Meet at the Kiosk.  

During the first week of fall, join us on a walk to see fields ablaze with fall blooming goldenrods, asters, bonesets, and other  wildflowers. We may also find ripening persimmons, and, in the forest, dancing beech aphids. Co-sponsors are  the Jefferson Chapter of the Virginia Native Plant Society and Ivy Creek Natural Area and Riverview Farm.  Open to all. No registration needed.
