Tana Herndon will lead a walk searching for late summer wildflowers and fruits. Several species of goldenrods and thoroughworts should be blooming in a sunny meadow along with other wildflowers in the aster and legume families.  We may also see colorful spicebush berries and persimmon fruits along with various nuts and seeds.  Co-sponsored with the Jefferson Chapter, Virginia Native Plant Society.  Meet by the kiosk near the parking lot on 9/14 at 9:00 AM. Free and open to the public.
