River View Farm Tour

Farmhouse with new roof

Join us for a tour of historic River View Farm.  Founded by Hugh Carr, a formerly enslaved man, in 1870, the farm was later owned by his daughter, Mary Carr Greer, and her husband, Conly Greer, both leaders in the African American community in Albemarle County.  Join us on September 14 at 5:30 pm at the kiosk to learn about their struggles and successes.  This event is free and open to the public but space is limited, so please preregister here.
