Len Smock, director of the VCU Rice Rivers Station, will present on Birding West Alaska at the monthly meeting of the Monticello Bird Club in the Education Building of the Ivy Creek Natural Area. He will also share some information about the Rice Rivers Station and their work with Atlantic sturgeon, wetland restoration, water quality programs and various bird oriented research projects.
