City Nature Challenge Geology Hike

Join Ivy Creek Foundation and Marilyn Smith on a Geology Hike at Ivy Creek Natural Area and Historic River View Farm. This hike will explore the geology of ICNA and Historic River View Farm and explore the natural history of the area and the different kind of rocks that are on the property.

This guided hike is part of of the City Nature Challenge in the Greater Charlottesville Region and the Rivanna RiverFest. Please download the free iNaturalist App from your smartphone prior to the hike. Families are welcome, but this hike is geared to adults. No dogs. No bathroom facilities.

We have room for 20 participants. If your schedule changes, please let us know. If you want to be added to the waitlist after the hike reaches capacity, please let us know.
