Location of ICNA with Google Maps
If you are heading to Ivy Creek Natural Area from outside the
Charlottesville/Albemarle area, you may use the following routes:
If you will be taking Route 33 (East / West):
drive towards Route 29 and take Route 29 South
to the traffic light
intersection at Rio Road. Turn right onto Rio Road West
and proceed until the traffic light intersection at
Route 743 / Hydraulic Road. Summers Market (formerly the Rock Store) will be
on the right; turn right onto Route 743 / Earlysville Road
and go 1/2 mile. The entrance is on the left.
If you will be taking Interstate 64 (East / West):
drive towards Charlottesville and take
Exit 118B onto Route 29 North / Route 250 East Bypass
into Charlottesville. At the first traffic light turn left onto
Hydraulic Road and proceed through 5 traffic lights. The
6th traffic light is at the intersection with Route 743 / Hydraulic Road
and you will see the Summers Market
(formerly called the Rock Store)
diagonally across the intersection on the left.
Turn left onto Route 743 / Earlysville Road
and go 1/2 mile. The entrance is on the left.
